Jesse Lundine and Andrew Johns, Mountain Home, Ark., were united in a lakeside wedding ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010, at Lil’ Toledo Lodge in Chanute. The Rev. Steve Bubna, Colony, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Eugene and Peggy Lundine, Humboldt. The groom is the son of Eileen Johns, Lone Elm, and the late Randy Johns.
Attending were grandparents of the bride, Juanita Lundine, Humboldt, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Herrmann of Moran, who were also celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, and grandparents of the groom, Ella May Johns, Iola, and Bernice Steele, Garnett.
Special guest was Sgt. Stephen Nickell, cousin of the bride, on leave from Iraq.
Jessica Schermacher, Rogers, Ark., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin North, Iola, and Leslie Waggonner, Hays.
Flower girl and ring bearer were Lily and Brady Fankhauser, twin niece and nephew of the bride.
Serving as best man was Leland McGraw, Welda. Groomsmen were Evan Boots, Colony, and Seth Johns, brother of the groom, Lawrence.
A reception, dinner and dance followed at the lodge’s event center.
The couple are at home in Mountain Home.
Mrs. Johns graduated in 2006 from Humboldt High School and in 2009 from Missouri Southern University with a criminal justice administration degree. She is employed by the State of Arkansas, Division of Children and Family Services, in Salem, Ark. Mr. Johns is a 2003 graduate of Crest High School, Colony, and is employed by Eaton Corporation in Mountain Home.
